And if we rely on information from TSN network informant Darren Dreger, a result on this matter would be close. In fact, talks are reportedly underway between Kane’s clan, including his agent Pat Brisson, and the other National Hockey League (NHL) teams.

Eight to ten teams would also be in the running for the services of the former Chicago Blackhawks forward. Meanwhile, negotiations could be completed by next week.
“The list is less than 10 teams, it would be closer to eight, and they will try to narrow it down by the end of the week,” Dreger said on air Tuesday. They hope to make a final decision probably next week.”
