The Pittsburgh Penguins got the ball rolling when they struck a trade early Friday by acquiring forward Nick Bonino from the San Jose Sharks.
Details of the trade are still unknown, according to Sportsnet reporter Elliotte Friedman.

It’s a return to Pittsburgh for Bonino, who played two seasons for the Penguins between 2015 and 2017 and won the Stanley Cup twice. Bonino also starred in that anthology moment during the first game of the Stanley Cup Finals against the San Jose Sharks in 2016.
In 59 games this season, the forward has scored 19 points, including 10 goals.
