Under the name Attention and care for people with disabilities, the handbook states that every citizen with any type of disability has the right to be part of education, health, sports, culture, work and political participation.
The booklet helps the family see how to lovingly and respectfully care for and care for those types of people who need more support to ensure a better quality of life.
Health Minister Martha Reyes explained that the study material was produced by several government institutions and aims to integrate the family and community for the care and support of the disabled.
He recalled that the country is developing the Everyone With A Voice program, which involves several Nicaraguans with physical and motor difficulties.
For her part, Family Minister Johana Flores spoke out in favor of working together and strengthening the rights of people with disabilities in this Central American country.
“Through the spaces for reflection and dialogue with families, we want to internalize this respect for the rights of people with disabilities,” he emphasized.
