According to the latest report from the Nicaraguan Institute for Territorial Studies (Ineter), the system weakened and turned into a low pressure zone; Travel speeds will be slow and a high chance of rain is forecast across the country.

The Ineter authorities recommended remaining vigilant since the remnants of the phenomenon, reaching the Pacific Ocean, could increase the activity of the low pressure of the southwesterly winds towards Nicaragua and it is likely that rainfall will increase in the Pacific, mainly in the West.
