Nick Cannon is lucky to have ex-wife Mariah Carey in his life.
The comedian, who recently welcomed his 12th child in December, called the We Belong Together hitmaker, 53, “the love of his life.”
“Like the biggest? I mean, I always talk about it,” he said in an interview with The Shade Room.
“Then it goes viral and our fans get mad at me. But I was 12 years old with pictures of Mariah Carey on my wall, and that will be my wife. And the fact that she’s the coolest person I’ve ever met.”
Cannon became a father in 2011 when he and Carey gave birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe, now 11.
He and the “Obsessed” singer split in 2014 before pulling the plug on their union in 2016.

“I get a lot of that adorable nature from her,” he continued. “She’s just always happy and always doing something for others.”
“It doesn’t matter what happens in life. I’m like, ‘Wow, a person can actually operate like this and not allow negative energy into their space.’”
“When I found out how remarkable she was… this woman is not human. She’s a gift from God,” Cannon added.

The Masked Singer host recently became a father to 12 children after Alyssa Scott gave birth to their baby girl, named Halo Marie.
The couple also welcomed a son named Zen in April 2021; However, the child died of brain cancer five months later.
Cannon welcomed son Legendary, daughter Onyx and son Rise in 2022 with Bre Tiesi, Lanisha Cole and Brittany Bell.

Bell, 35, gave birth to son Golden, 5, and daughter Powerful, 1, in February 2017 and December 2020 respectively.
He also shares twins Zion and Zillion, 1, with Abby De La Rosa, as well as a baby girl named Beautiful Zeppelin, who the couple welcomed on November 11.
The “Drumline” star said in July 2022 that he will never “have a love like I had with Mariah.”

“I firmly believe in love and I allow the capsules of love to be where they lie. I’m not a timeline guy,” he said on the Hottee Talk Show podcast.
“It was literally like a fairy tale with Mariah, so I’d rather it be just like that. I cherish that fantasy because if I tried to go back and it wasn’t the same, I’d be like, ‘Damn, I screwed up,'” he continued.
But he added: “If I had the opportunity, if it could be the way it was, I’m in.”
