Model Alyssa Scott revealed via Instagram that she and Nick Cannon welcomed a daughter named Halo Marie Cannon on December 14.

The newborn’s arrival comes just over a year after the tragic loss of her five-month-old son, Zen, in December 2021. “Our lives have changed forever,” Alyssa wrote in the video’s caption of her pregnancy and the birth of her daughter.
“Every time I breathe, I’m Zen. I know his spirit was in the room with us that morning. I know he’s watching us from up there, he’s showing me signs every day. I will keep this memory forever. I will remember the sound of Nick’s voice saying it’s a girl and his look expressing everything we’ve been through. I will remember the sound of her first scream, her first breath and the feel of her heartbeat against mine. My sweet girl I have my surprise!! We love you Halo Marie Cannon!” she added.
Alyssa Scott then shared a photo of the little one sleeping in a basket with the caption, “HI BABY!! 12/14/22” and heart emojis.
The newborn is Nick Cannon’s 12th child and fifth this year. He is the father of twins Moroccan and Monroe (11) with his ex-wife Mariah Carey; by Golden (5 years), Powerful Queen (2 years) and Rise (3 months) with Brittany Bell; twins Zion and Zillion (18 months) and Beautiful (1 month) with Abby De La Rosa. Nick Cannon also has a 6-month-old son, Legendary Love, with Bre Tiesi, and a 3-month-old daughter, Onyx, with LaNisha Cole.
