Nick Carter faces third sexual assault trial – Le Journal de Montréal

Nick Carter has been accused of sexual assault by a third woman.

The Backstreet Boys singer was accused of sexual assault by an anonymous woman who claimed she was abused by Carter when she was 15 and he was 23.

The accuser, who identified herself by the initials AR, filed the complaint Monday in Las Vegas. In the lawsuit, AR claims to have been sexually abused by the musician on multiple occasions in 2003.

She also claimed that Carter, 43, was “knowingly providing alcohol and drugs” at the time of the alleged acts, “despite his repeated refusals and requests to stop.” In addition, AR claimed that the artist gave him a sexually transmitted infection from the human papilloma virus (HPV) family, causing him “severe emotional stress, physical torment, problems with intimacy and other trauma complexes.”
AR is seeking $15,000 in damages.

“The impact of Carter’s sexual abuse is unrelenting, causing plaintiff severe emotional distress, physical anguish, intimacy issues and other complex trauma,” legal documents obtained by Us Weekly state.

It was also alleged that AR’s mother reported the assaults to law enforcement in Pennsylvania, but the singer was never charged.

The “I Want It That Way” singer has denied the allegations. His attorney, Dale Hayes Jr., called them “ridiculous” and “malicious” in a statement to the Los Angeles Times.

The artist is already facing two additional lawsuits from Shannon “Shay” Ruth and singer Melissa Schuman.
