The 24-year-old full-back made his Bettman Tour debut this season. He will earn an average annual salary of $1.125 million under the new one-way deal.

A Minnesota native, Perbix spent four years in the NCAA at St. Cloud State before joining the American Hockey League’s Syracuse Crunch.

A former sixth-round pick for the Bolts, he has three goals and eight points in 29 games since the start of the season while also maintaining a +8 differential.

He also wore the colors of the United States at the Beijing 2022 games.

“He’s the kind of kid that wants to learn,” head coach Jon Cooper told the Bettman Tour website. He always has his eyes wide open. It’s obvious he wants the National Hockey League to be a part of his daily life.
