Nicki Minaj says she would work with Taylor Swift 'in a heartbeat' and praises her 'great music'… years after THE two spat on Twitter

Nicki Minaj made it clear there was no bad blood between her and Taylor Swift as she praised the pop superstar on social media on Wednesday.

The 41-year-old rapper and singer took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to serenade the 34-year-old Eras Tour star for constantly releasing great music.

When asked about the possibility of a future collaboration, Nicki wrote that she would sign up “in a heartbeat.”

Her bubbly posts signaled that her Twitter feud with the hitmaker had long since died down in 2015.

The enthusiastic response to a possible collaboration with Taylor was also a far cry from the way Nicki gave her monster collaborator Kanye West a quick rejection last week after he requested the use of her 2018 song New Body on his upcoming Album Vultures had asked.

Nicki's initial praise for Taylor came as a clarification after some Swifties thought she was criticizing the Cruel Summer singer when she criticized the Billboard charts for penalizing her by taking a portion of her album sales for her hit Pink Friday 2, as they were part of a fan competition.

Some fans thought the complaints were related to Taylor previously having the top five vinyl albums on the charts.

Nicki managed to break into the top five, but Pink Friday 2 has so far remained stuck at number two behind 1989 (Taylor's version), while knocking one of Taylor's LPs out of the top five.

In her tweets on Wednesday, Nicki made it clear that she had no objection to Taylor's dominance of the vinyl LP market, but instead showered her success and work ethic with compliments while encouraging her own fans to buy her albums as eagerly as she did by Taylor Legion of fans.

'The [Sagittarius] QUEEN TAYLOR DESERVES!!! PERIOD!!!!!' Nicki started excitedly.

“She takes months and years off and then comes back with great music and fans that will never leave her!!!!”

'The end!!!!!!!' She added, before clarifying: “I only spoke to Barbz about vinyls because they had questions for me…”

She explained: “We broke the vinyl sales record for any female rap album in history.” This means retailers had no idea the vinyl records would be in such high demand.

“Either way, now they do it! This is a wonderful thing!' she gushed, adding, “Now it’s our turn.”

She continued, calling for a “CELEBRATION.”

“I want to thank every single artist on this album.” But!!!! The point is that we have something to strive for when we see SAG QUEEN Taylor & the Swifties & Republic Records,” she concluded.

Nicki also made it clear that the matter had been resolved.

“Any more questions about this?” she wrote. “Who wants to get the insulted TF out?”

One of Nicki's fans took the opportunity to question her about a possible “collaboration” with Taylor in the replies.

Nick responded that she would work with Taylor “in a heartbeat.”

Billboard noted that many of Taylor and Nicki's fans were excited at the prospect of a collaboration with the release of Taylor's re-recorded 1989 version after a Google puzzle of Swift-related terms included “Sagittarius,” which they thought was a reference stopped at Nicki. as she and the Shake It Off singer share this zodiac sign.

However, when the final tracklist was revealed, fans were disappointed to find Nicki was nowhere to be found.

After Nicki's

After Nicki's “Anaconda” missed out on the Video of the Year nomination at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, Nicki complained about videos in which she celebrated “women with very thin bodies,” which Taylor sharply criticized since she and Beyoncé did were the only female nominees; seen in 2011

Nicki's bubbly tweets about Taylor's music were markedly different from her heated exchange with the Anti-Hero singer in 2015.

Their contentious interactions began in July, shortly after the MTV Video Music Awards nominations were announced.

Taylor was nominated in the Video of the Year category for Bad Blood with Kendrick Lamar, but Nicki's video for Anaconda was missing from the top category, although her Feeling Myself co-star Beyoncé was nominated for 7/11.

Nevertheless, the super bass singer managed to secure three nominations for the show.

Shortly after the nominations were announced, Taylor excitedly tweeted to her fans, urging them to vote for her.

'GUYS!! You nominated Bad Blood for Video of the Year at the VMAs!! Please vote here?' She wrote.

Nicki took a different approach, citing her lack of a nomination in the Video of the Year category.

“Lol guys, did we miss the deadline??” she tweeted.

But Nicki acted like she was confused as to why Taylor would ever think she was referring to her; seen in July in Kansas City, Missouri

She then added: “If the 'other' girls release a video that breaks records and impacts culture, they'll get that nomination.”

Hours later, she continued: “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for video of the year.”

Taylor then interpreted Nicki's posts as a dig at her, which she referenced in her own tweet.

“@nickiminaj I have done nothing but love and support you.” It's different from you to pit women against each other. “Maybe one of the men took your seat,” she shot back.

But the Pink Friday rapper reacted like she didn't know what Taylor was talking about.

“Huh? You are not allowed to read my tweets. “I didn’t say a word about you,” she replied. “I love you just as much.” But you should talk about it.'

However, Nicki's tweets strained her credibility as the only other woman nominated in the category was Beyoncé, with whom she collaborated on “Feeling Myself.”

If she hadn't been referring to Taylor, she would have either lumped the Renaissance singer in with “women with very slim bodies” – even though she celebrated her curvaceous figure on her last LP – or referred to nominations from years past , to cite an example trend, although her tweets gave no indication of it.

But even though she claimed she wasn't referring to Taylor, she still encouraged her to

“@taylorswift I'm still confused as to why you just tweeted me even though I made it totally clear…” Nicki continued.

In response, the former country singer attempted to defuse the situation by making the rapper an offer.

“@nickiminaj If I win please come with me!! “You’re invited to every stage I’ve ever been on,” she tweeted.

As fans of both artists began reacting to the apparent online feud, Nicki once again claimed that she wasn't targeting Taylor.

“Nothing I said had anything to do with Taylor. So what kind of shocks?' she wrote, before blaming “white media and their tactics.”

'So sad. “That’s what they want,” she added.

Other stars saw the spat as an opportunity to have fun.

Bruno Mars, who was nominated the same year for his Mark Ronson collaboration “Uptown Funk,” poked fun at fellow nominee Ed Sheeran in a tension-breaking tweet.

“Yo, I want in on this Twitter beef!!” VMAs is the new WWF!! @edsheeran F*** You!' he joked.

Ed replied, “However we do it, you will come up short.”

However, he ended up chiming in with Nicki's fans as he was quoted telling BuzzFeed UK that she had called her arguments “superfluous” and later said the comments were taken out of context.

“Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul also joined the fray, writing that he “loved” both hitmakers.

“How about we all get together and discuss this?” Coffee? Pancakes?? “My pleasure,” he wrote.

Taylor finally ended the feud by apologizing to Nicki on Twitter, which the rapper accepted. “This means so much Taylor, thank you,” she wrote

Katy Perry, Taylor's former feud partner – and the presumed subject of her song “Bad Blood” – then tweeted that she found it “ironic” that Taylor would write about “Pit.”[ting] “Women against other women,” as she called “capitaliz.”[ing] about the murder of a woman.'

Finally, Taylor finally ended the feud when she apologized to Nicki.

“I thought I was being called. I didn't understand the point, I misunderstood it and then misphrased it. “I’m sorry Nicki,” she wrote.

Nicki responded, “That means so much, Taylor, thank you,” signaling that she, too, was done with the back-and-forth.
