Jo Elvin, CEO of Children with Cancer UK, said: “As well as being a fantastic evening of entertainment, our annual gala is an important opportunity for us to shine a light on the impact of research in the fight against childhood cancer. and a reminder that continued fundraising is critical to ensuring that one day every child survives a cancer diagnosis.

“Although survival rates are improving, there are still around 4,200 new cases of cancer in children and young people in the UK every year.”

“Every pound raised at this year’s gala will directly benefit children and their families, helping to fund life-saving scientific research into childhood cancer and providing ongoing support to young cancer patients and their families.”
