Bald-headed and beard-wearing, Nicolas Cage is UNRECOGNIZABLE as he makes his debut on the set of upcoming comedy Dream Scenario

Nicolas Cage was almost unrecognizable when he was first spotted on the set of his upcoming movie in Toronto.

The A24-produced film is called Dream Scenario, and while Deadline has reported that it will be a comedy, no further details about the premise have been released.

Sporting a grizzled bear and a large prosthetic bald spot, the 58-year-old film star blended even further into the character through glasses.

He was spotted this Friday filming a scene at the entrance of a cinema with his co-star Julianne Nicholson, who recently won an Emmy for Mare Of Easttown.

The new film will be produced by Ari Aster, the director of such lively horror films as Midsommar and Hereditary.

Nicolas recently parodied himself in the comedy The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, which also starred Mandalorian heartthrob Pedro Pascal.

The fictional version of him in this film agrees to go to a birthday party for a Mexican billionaire big enough to pay $1 million for the privilege.

Nicolas agrees to the arrangement without much enthusiasm, and his decision to do so puts him in the middle of an action-comedy subplot.
