Survivor Quebec’s last tip was hectic to say the least.
Nicolas was crowned champion in season one and we can understand why when we look at that last pitch where he excelled.
“I had the click [que j’allais gagner] A little because I saw that the jury was very enthusiastic about my answers,” he confided to us the day after his victory was broadcast.
When Patrice Bélanger announced the first vote in favor of Nicolas, he went limp and collapsed to the ground. Then a certain panic seized the whole thing and the doctor took over the management.
“I’m a hypersensitive guy, we’ve seen that all season,” he first told us. “Add to that the tiredness, the hunger, the disorientation, just the fact that I was on a last survivor board, it was super intense. I see my name on a poll… I dream of my life to be in Survivor, but there it gives me additional confirmation that there is at least one person on the jury who said to themselves, “Yes, Nico, you played one.” Game is good enough to be our first winner of Survivor Quebec.” Only one vote confirmed that I played Survivor. There were just too many emotions. »
“Chris was great, he lifted my legs up. Cameron [rencontrez-le ici] And the psychologist Marie-Claude, who came immediately to help me, and Patrice, who comforted me: the team was really there for me at the time. They teased me because I kept apologizing for stopping production. I was really well supported back then. »
Nicolas states that he actually lost consciousness at this point, but doesn’t know exactly for how long. “If I’m not mistaken, I regained consciousness fairly quickly. »
He adds, “I’m so glad it was kept in edit. I wondered if they would keep just a small recording of my smile in response to my voice… I think my fall proves how important it was to me. It also shows viewers how drained we are physically and emotionally and that we give 100%. If you pass out when you see your name on a piece of paper, that’s still intense! »
