Guests at Wednesday’s party took advantage of the huge wraparound balcony and expansive views of Sydney Harbour.
The Oscar winner invested $2.78 million in an apartment below her penthouse in the exclusive Latitude building on Sydney’s Milsons Point last year, according to Domain.
The sub-penthouse pad features two bedrooms and incredible harbor views thanks to a wide balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows that line the living room.
The elegant apartment also features a modern kitchen and access to a heated pool, gym and sauna.
Nicole and Keith already own several other apartments in the same building.
The couple first bought the penthouse in 2009 for $6 million from Wizard Home Loans founder and Celebrity Apprentice star Mark Bouris before buying the adjoining penthouses for $7 million three years later.
The Hollywood couple also own a $2.68 million apartment on the 19th floor of the block, which they use as a home office when in Sydney.
Their four apartments in the Latitude building, as well as their Bunya Hill farm in the southern highlands, all carry the company name.
Nicole has not owned property in her own name since 1993, when she bought her younger sister Antonia a one-bedroom apartment in Mosman for $81,000.
Nicole and Keith landed in Australia earlier this month with their two daughters – Sunday, 14, and Faith, 12 – to spend Christmas with their mum Janelle.
This year’s Christmas celebrations will be particularly important for the Kidman/Urban clan as it could be one of the last to be spent with Janelle, 81, who has been unwell since January.

In an interview with the Fresh Air podcast in January, Nicole spoke briefly about her mother’s health issues.
She said they managed to make an after-hours visit to the Art Gallery of New South Wales, where they saw the Matisse: Life & Spirit exhibition, describing it as a “soothing balm.”
“We’re down here mainly to take care of my mom and let her be surrounded by her grandkids,” she said.
“Although Omicron rampages through this country, luckily we were able to take her to the gallery after hours yesterday and show her the Matisse exhibition, which comes from a mother who raised me in the arts, it was comforting balm. Matisse was soothing balm last night.’
In an interview with the Fresh Air podcast, the 54-year-old actress opened up about her mother’s health issues
Later in the interview, Nicole said she felt privileged to be able to see the world through her mother’s eyes, describing it as “so comforting.”
“I’m in the place where I get a chance to see the world, because we’re so close my mom gives me a chance to see the world through the eyes of an 81-year-old woman,” she explained .
“It’s so beneficial right now because she’s so knowing. She’s got all the brain power available, so she’s not lost. She hasn’t lost her memory, which is fascinating, and she’s extremely intelligent.
“She gives me access because she’s also very direct and very honest, so I get access to the world through her eyes, my mother’s eyes, so a part of me at almost 80.”
She added: “It’s obviously her perspective. There are many different perspectives of 80-year-olds, but it’s their perspective and their particular journey, but I’m drinking it and learning.
