The first two episodes of the miniseries Expatriates starring Nicole Kidman was released on Amazon Prime Video on January 26th. The actress takes us behind the scenes of the moving series with some photos published on Instagram.

The Expatriates series is set in Hong Kong and tells the story of a close-knit expatriate community, including several women. “Go behind the scenes as we celebrate the making of Expats with this phenomenal cast and crew,” the 56-year-old star wrote on Instagram beneath a carousel of set photos.

She is seen with the young actors playing their children in the series on the streets of Hong Kong with members of the technical team and on set during and between scenes, and she also hugs American-Japanese actor Brian Tee, who plays the lead role her husband's role.
The six-part miniseries from writer and director Lulu Wang also stars Ji-young Yoo, Sarayu Rao and Jack Huston.
It is based on the 2016 novel The Expatriates by Janice YK.
