Nigel Farage has addressed rumors that he is set to join the cast of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2023.
The former politician, 59, has confirmed he has been asked to take part in the hit ITV show and admitted he is “tempted” by the offer.
Speaking on Monday’s GB News, Nigel admitted he had been considering the offer for the last ten days and said he was still thinking about it.
Nigel, who has previously revealed he has been turning down requests since 2016, admitted it was an “unconventional” approach for him.
“I already have an Australian visa. So if I decided to vacation there, I could do it without too much difficulty,” he said.

“I thought about it [the offer] hard, for about ten days. It’s a pretty big decision and a pretty unconventional decision for me.
“There is a large, young audience out there who, it seems to me, have no one to talk to them about current affairs and politics in the UK.”
“That’s what excites me, but I haven’t signed a contract yet.”
This comes after Nigel confirmed he is “in contractual discussions” about appearing on the show and is “seriously” considering it.
‘[I’m A Celebrity have] offered me quite considerable sums for this. “They spoke on the phone again this year,” he told GB News last week.
“Unlike previous years, I’m thinking about it very, very seriously.”

An ITV insider said: “It was certainly a first for a former I’m A Celeb winner to broker a deal for another contestant.”
“Nigel has been offered the chance to go into the jungle several times but Toff made it happen this time.” Everyone involved in the deal is thrilled.
“It’s definitely a treat.”
Former health secretary Matt Hancock came third in the 2022 series, while Nadine Dorries, who was culture secretary under Boris Johnson, was the first to bow out in 2012.
Both lost the Conservative election victory for taking part in the show, which means sitting in the House of Commons as independents.
Nadine later had it returned and apologized to Parliament for the fee she had been paid for her appearance.
Former MPs, including Edwina Currie in 2014, Lembit Opik in 2010 and Robert Kilroy-Silk in 2008, have also been on the show.

The Sun has claimed that former prime minister Liz Truss, who resigned last year, and her short-term chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng are also being considered for the jungle.
Other rumored contestants include This Morning star Josie Gibson and Love Island star Olivia Attwood, who took part last year but had to go home early.
Olivia, 32, was forced to withdraw after a routine blood test revealed she had low sodium and potassium levels while also being anaemic.
There was also speculation that Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson could also be a housemate after his partner Zara McDermott took part in the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing.
