Nikki Haley, former US ambassador to the United Nations during the Trump administration and former governor of South Carolina, is poised to announce her candidacy for the White House on February 15 in Charleston. In an email to his supporters, he gave that date for a “special announcement” that The Post and Courier newspaper said was precisely his entry into the field.
