The four-run third was ample support for Sandercock. UGA came on the board with a leadoff solo shot from Sydney Kuma. Aside from that, Sandercock repeatedly made gentle contact to organize another quality gig in the circle. She hit the home run for three straight frames, including a fourth 1-2-3 with the help of an unassisted double play by Mack Leonard.
FSU led 4-1 and reached the end of the fifth quarter. Harding led out of the frame with her second double before two walks weighed down the bases. Hallie Wacaser snuck a chopper through the right side of the infield to defeat a pair and extend the lead to five.
