“There were definitely people around him who knew me,” the tight end told the Wall Street Journal magazine. Someone played Cupid for me.”
The friendship bracelet that he wanted to give to Swift for her performance at Arrowhead Stadium was not the trigger for their romantic relationship, but rather the presence of a person who helped him without his knowledge.
“Cupid told me exactly what was going on and I was lucky that she contacted me,” the 34-year-old added.
Kelce didn’t just have help from the person who claimed to be the God of Love. According to the New York Post newspaper, members of his family unknowingly helped the footballer in his search for love.
“When she got to Arrowhead, they gave her the big locker room to change and her little cousins took pictures… in front of my locker,” he said.

While many were convinced that their first meeting took place during the interpreter’s inaugural visit to a Chiefs-Chicago Bears clash at the end of September, number 87 confirms that this is not the case.
“When I met her in New York, we had been talking for a while, so I knew we could go to dinner together and talk,” he said.
On November 11, Kelce and Swift confirmed their relationship during their concert in Buenos Aires. Not only did she change the lyrics of her song “Karma” in honor of her new boyfriend who was present with her in Argentina, but at the end of the show she ran up to kiss him, causing screams of joy from the people there.
