Actor Luc Senay and his wife, director Janie Gaumond-Brunet, do not regret their decision to be nomads for almost a year.
In 2020, the couple made the decision to give up everything they owned, including their Shefford residence in Estrie, not settling in a smaller house or condo, but moving full-time in a van a few years later.

“When you see several good friends leave before the age of 65, a lot of things become clear to you,” the actor told the Journal on the sidelines of his conference at the Salon du VR de Québec last weekend. We can’t know when we’re leaving, so we might as well enjoy life before it’s too late.

“The beauty of this way of life is that you can stop and take the time to live. We are the ones who decide what we do, where we sleep, and that gives us the opportunity to truly appreciate life,” he added.

That doesn’t mean they’re no longer working, although they still work around 80% of their time.
In addition, for several months they have been developing the project L’Étoile et L’Autre, a documentary series that deals with their decision to be lovebirds, through moments of their daily life, the places they visit and the people they meet met, shared.
