Noovo wants to seduce viewers this fall with two new series, “Chouchou” and “A Criminal Case”, continuing the humor niche with its novelty “Le maître du jeu”.

In terms of drama, broadcaster Bell Media offers Simon Boulerice’s first adult series, “Chouchou” (Wednesday, 8 p.m.), in which a 37-year-old French teacher (Evelyne Brochu) develops a “devouring passion” for a 17-year-old disciple (Lévi Doré) who will lead him into a descent into hell. Evelyne Brochu said that as an interpreter, she was seduced by “the density of things to be defended”. “The consequences of this love will impact a variety of characters in very different, rich and powerful ways,” she said.
In “A Criminal Affair” (Tuesday, 8 p.m.), which Crave subscribers have already been able to discover, the character of Celine Bonnier tries to acquit her son, who has been languishing for years for a crime he did not commit.
The comedies “… Moi non plus” (Tuesday, 7.30 p.m.) and “Entre deux Sheets” (Wednesday, 7.30 p.m.) are as well as the final season of “Forever, plus one day (Thursday, 7.30 p.m.), in which a young man (Pier-Luc Funk) sentenced to death makes the best of life with his girlfriend (Catherine Brunet).
We’ll have to wait until winter to immerse ourselves in the dramatic The Emperor, which will take place over 10 years before and after the #MeToo movement. Michelle Allen’s series brings together Jean-Philippe Perras, Noé Lira and Macha Grenon, among others.
Also in January, it’s Turn: Double Fault’s turn to catch your breath on Noovo. Éric Bruneau and Louis Morissette are in the middle of filming, and sequences were even boxed at the IGA Stadium during the National Bank Open. The two collaborators also wrote the lyrics and traded the ball on set, the first as a tennis pro and the second in his coach’s skin.
This fall, Noovo is presenting “Les justiciers” (Friday, 8pm), a program in which three women lawyers hear small claims court cases. They’ll be counseling in front of the cameras and it won’t be easy.
In terms of humor and entertainment, ‘Le maître du jeu’, an adaptation of the British format ‘Taskmaster’, will star Louis Morissette as the master and Antoine Vézina as his assistant. We’ll see how Mehdi Bousaidan, Jo Cormier, Eve Côté, Christine Morency and Matthieu Pepper lend themselves to all sorts of tests and incredible challenges.
Who Knows How to Sing” (Monday, 8pm) will return with Phil Roy at the helm. The latter promised small changes but more fun, especially during the season premiere, a country special that will bring together Paul Daraîche, Matt Lang, Mitsou and Annie Villeneuve. “Club Soly” (Monday, 7:30 p.m.) also returns.
Jay Du Temple and the “OD” singles are already in Martinique for the new season, presented from Sunday to Thursday at 6:30 p.m., before giving way to the novelty “Les Fridays OD”.
Finally, Julie Snyder is back for the fourth season of her talk show La Semaine des 4 Julie (Monday through Thursday, 9 p.m.). Michèle Richard – with whom Julie went camping in appalling conditions –, Jean-Luc Mongrain, Preach and Martin Vachon will join the staff. Julie Snyder said the season will start with the Montreal Canadiens’ Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki. “This summer I ‘chilled’ with Justin Trudeau for an afternoon on the islands bordering ‘The Beach,'” she revealed, saying that the Liberal leader was going to see Jean Lapierre’s family and that she didn’t miss it.
On September 11 at 8 p.m., Marie-Lyne Joncas and Julie Snyder will host Noovo’s back-to-school program called The Comeback Fabulous.
