A High Point, North Carolina, pastor was arrested last week after he allegedly attacked his wife's co-worker and attempted to shove his head into a McDonald's fryer, according to police.
The High Point Police Department reported that on Dec. 28, a woman was training to be a manager at the S. Main Street McDonald's location when her employees treated her “disrespectfully.”
The woman then called her husband, 57-year-old Dwayne Waden, to help her with the situation.
Witnesses told police that when Waden arrived, he walked into the McDonald's store and then walked around the counter before putting his hands around the victim's neck.
After grabbing the victim's neck, Waden allegedly pushed his head toward one of the restaurant's deep fryers, police said.
Waden also punched the victim in the face several times, police allege, and did not stop hitting the victim until several employees managed to pull Waden off the victim.
The victim reportedly suffered a “large bruise” to his forehead and right eye, as well as scratches to his neck, police wrote.
Emergency services arrived on scene, but the victim had his family drive him to the hospital instead.

Police said officers were able to view surveillance footage of the incident before arresting Waden on assault and battery charges.
Waden was taken to police headquarters and posted $1,000 bond. He is due back in court on January 22nd.
Waden notes on his Facebook page that he is both a semi-truck driver and pastor at Elevated Life International Ministries.
