The circumstances and causes of this attack are not clear at this time.
When the police were made aware of a possible knife attack, “they took control of the perpetrator and two victims,” said head of operations Kristian Bjørberg during a press conference.
“The relationship (between them) appears to be that between teachers and a student,” he added.
Two knives were found at the scene.
According to an emergency medical official, one of the victims is in “critical” condition and has been hospitalized. The other suffered minor injuries.
The incident, which is extremely rare in Norway, took place within the walls of the University of Oslo’s Institute for the World of Work.
No further information was given about the victims and their attacker.
