Nova’s Tim Blackwell reveals the ‘RUDEST celebrity’ he’s ever interviewed: ‘This is the last we’ll see of her’
Nova FM host Tim Blackwell has called the “rudest celebrity” he’s ever interviewed in his 20-year radio career.
Appearing on the Shock Jocks podcast this week, Blackwell, 41, claimed that the star he least liked to meet was pop singer Rihanna, following a disastrous on-air interview in the mid-2000s.
Rihanna was in Australia at the time to promote her song “Pon de Replay,” and according to Blackwell, she had a very special attitude.
“She came into the studio, she was about 17 or so, and she did the interview with me and she was about like this (see photo below),” Blackwell claimed.
“She spoke very softly and gave me one-word answers.” Anyway, [at the end of the interview] We got up and no kidding, I turned to my producer and said, “Last we see of her!” he added.

His prediction couldn’t have been more wrong as the Barbadian singer would go on to become one of the most successful musicians and businesswomen in the world.
Most recently, the Grammy winner made history this week by becoming the first artist ever to have 10 songs with over 1 billion streams on Spotify.
It’s not the first time Blackwell has opened up about his rather regrettable celebrity interviews.

In 2016, he admitted to accidentally getting a piece of pizza meat stuck to his neck during an interview with Katy Perry.
“I hurried off [Perry’s] Hotel to talk to her while she smashes a piece [pizza] on the way. Everything went as planned during the interview, but then when I got home, my wife said, “What’s that on your neck?” he told News Corp.
“It was some pizza meat!” “I sat side by side with Katy for almost 20 minutes and had a piece of unfamiliar flesh on my neck that she must have thought was a growth or something disgusting.”
“Polite as always, she never said a word about it.”
