Dallas Stars forward Evgenii Dadonov will be sidelined for a short time due to a lower body fracture he suffered last Saturday in Montreal.
Peter DeBoer said this on Tuesday, three days after the Russian striker was injured in a 3-2 win against the Canadians at the Bell Centre.

In 50 games so far in the 2023-24 season, Dadonov has found the target 12 times and provided 11 assists for 23 points.
The 34-year-old veteran has been a member of the Stars since February 2023, when the Habs traded him for Denis Gurianov. Dadonov was taken over by CH a few months earlier and experienced his most unproductive moments of his career in La Belle Province.
In the Canadian jersey, the right winger scored four goals and 14 assists for 18 points in 50 games. He previously played for the Florida Panthers, Ottawa Senators and Vegas Golden Knights.
