OJ Simpson makes a bad joke

After Aaron Rodgers was injured in his first game with the New York Jets, OJ Simpson made a joke of very dubious taste.

Appearing on the It Is What It Is podcast, the former player made a lame comparison between Rodgers’ injury and the September 11, 2001 attacks.

“The Jets will always be good and this young man [Zach Wilson, le pivot substitut des Jets] I learned a lot from Aaron. Unfortunately, 9/11 is a bad date for New York,” Simpson said.

As a reminder, the Jets’ No. 1 quarterback will not play again this season after he tore his Achilles tendon during Monday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
