It looks like Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are starting 2023 on good terms.
Amid their high-profile custody battle — and the actress’ recent split from Harry Styles — the exes were spotted forming a united front in Los Angeles on Friday.
Wilde, 38, and Sudeikis, 47, were photographed hugging in a public car park, seemingly ignoring onlookers as they smiled and hugged happily.
The ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ director was dressed casual in a yellow varsity sweatshirt with matching Adidas trainers and jeans.
Sudeikis also opted for comfort in a cream hoodie, navy pants and baseball cap.

As previously reported, Wilde broke off her seven-year engagement to the “Ted Lasso” star – with whom she shares children Otis, 8, and Daisy, 6 – in the fall of 2020.
She quickly moved on with Styles, 28, after the two began collaborating on Don’t Worry Darling. In September 2022, Wilde denied leaving Sudeikis for the former One Direction heartthrob.

“The idea that I left Jason for Harry is completely wrong,” she told Vanity Fair at the time. “Our relationship was over long before I met Harry. Like any relationship that ends, it doesn’t end overnight.
“I developed a lot between the ages of 27 and 35. I found myself as a director. And I think I’ve found myself as an individual,” she continued. “Sometimes you grow out of relationships that were based on an earlier version of yourself.”
Wilde further claimed that she and Sudeikis realized their partnership was “no longer beneficial” for their children after facing bumpy challenges “at the beginning” of the coronavirus pandemic.
“We could be better parents than friends living in different houses,” she explained, noting, “Haven’t the kids been through enough?”

The custody battle between Wilde and Sudeikis continued to grab multiple headlines, particularly after the actor served custody papers to his ex-fiancée while she was onstage at CinemaCon in April 2022.
“Unfortunately, it wasn’t something that completely surprised me. I mean, there’s a reason I left this relationship,” Wilde said of the “vicious” move in an August 2022 interview with Variety.

“Unfortunately, I wasn’t that shocked. There’s a reason I didn’t stay in this relationship. Unfortunately, that was consistent with my experience of the relationship.”
And while things seemed to be going smoothly between Wilde and Styles for a while, news broke in November 2022 that the two had called it quits.

“There is no bad blood between them. Harry didn’t leave Olivia or vice versa,” a source told us at the time. “It’s the longest relationship Harry has ever had, so they clearly have a special bond.”
For his part, the “As It Was” singer was recently spotted reuniting with his alleged high school ex, Ellis Calcutt, in London recently. The two were photographed earlier this week in pictures obtained by Page Six as they met over coffee.
The blonde beauty shared on social media back in 2012 that she and Styles are “just good friends” who have been close since high school, according to the Chron.
