Olly Murs' life is about to change forever as he prepares to welcome his first child with wife Amelia Tank.

And the 39-year-old pop star has decided to put a chapter behind him and has reportedly sold his bachelor pad in Essex as he prepares for family life.

The Sun has revealed that the singer has secured a cool £2million for the flash pad, which includes his bachelor pad, swimming pool, bar and games room.

A TV insider told the publication: “Although Olly will undoubtedly be thrilled at the prospect of becoming parents, there will probably be a part of him that will be sad as he says goodbye to the incredible home.”

“Olly’s fans will be familiar with his sprawling barn conversion as he has often been featured in the poolside fitness videos he and Amelia have been posting during lockdown.”

“So that the fans know that he is really saying goodbye to a very special place with many memories.”

The home also features a gym equipped for the fitness-loving couple's workout sessions, as well as a hot tub and steam room.

The stylish kitchen features a dark marble island, white tile floors and beamed ceilings.

Olly bought the house in 2012, three years after coming second on The X Factor.

He said of the purchase at the time: “I bought a four-bedroom house in Essex.” A mate is moving in, that would be cool.

“I've never left home before.” I'm 27 and I need to grow up. I don’t really have time for a girlfriend, but hopefully I’ll meet someone.”

Olly and Amelia, 31, who tied the knot in July 2023, announced they were expecting a baby in early December.

Over Christmas, the pair shared a sweet photo as Olly stood proudly next to his wife, who tenderly caressed her growing bump as they put on their festive jumpers.

After Greggs commented under the post, the cheeky Essex boy couldn't help but engage in some light banter

He shared the picture of himself and Amelia standing on their doorstep with their Japanese Shiba Inu dog Missy and captioned the picture, “Merry little Christmas from us.”

All three wore Christmas jumpers – Missy in a cute snowman knit, Olly in a retro Bullseye yarn (a nod to the British darts TV game show) and Amelia in a Greggs outfit with the word “Preggs” in the middle – seemingly following the couple's recent announcement.

While famous faces like Mark Wright, Joe Wicks and Beverley Knight flocked to the comments section to send their greetings, it was someone else's that made Olly's heart skip a beat.

Greggs, the bakery, wrote: “Congratulations on your bun in the oven!” “The sausage rolls are on us.”

Apparently overjoyed, Olly replied: “Absolutely not!” Damn, I love Greggs!! You legends, along with some crying, laughing faces and clapping emojis.

But the comical exchange didn't end there, as Greggs joked again: “Soon I'll be driving up in the Preggs van…”.

Olly then told his 4.6 million followers a story showing the exchange, captioning it: “No my heads are gone.” “My Christmas.”
