Olympia Valance has opened up about her heartbreaking fertility journey after two pregnancy losses.
The 30-year-old actress, who is married to former AFL star Tom Bellchambers, said she was now afraid to be upset about pregnancy because of the losses she had suffered in the past.
Olympia previously miscarried twins in 2020 and recently experienced a second pregnancy at six weeks.
“I never once got upset because I just have to protect myself. And it’s only at 12 weeks that I’ll ever really believe I’m pregnant,” she told Stellar magazine.
“It was probably the hardest thing of all to tell my loved ones.” “The people in our lives know how much it means to us, how hard we’ve tried for so long and the disappointments we’ve experienced,” she continued.

“We told them the good news and said the embryo had come in while we were preparing them that this might not work.” So they were very, very supportive. But I know they hung up and cried a little.’
The former Neighbors star and her husband Tom are still trying to conceive, both naturally and through IVF.
In July, Valance revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage of twins during the Covid pandemic.
“I never once got upset because I just have to protect myself. And it’s only at 12 weeks that I’ll ever really believe I’m pregnant,” she told Stellar magazine
“Thomas and I suffered a miscarriage of twins in the middle of the coronavirus crisis, which, as you can imagine, was excruciatingly painful,” she said in the clip.
“We haven’t been able to get pregnant since then. “It would be two years of effort,” the actress continued.
“For any woman or couple trying to conceive, there is no pain worse than looking down at the negative pregnancy test every month. ‘Your heart breaks in two.’

Olympia said she was hesitant to “go down the IVF route” because she “never was good with hormones.”
“Adding more hormones to my rapid cycle scares the hell out of me,” she admitted, but said she wouldn’t see a fertility specialist.
“I want babies and I will do everything in my power to have them,” Olympia concluded.
Olympia and 34-year-old soccer player Thomas got married in June last year.
