Hundreds of properties in Quebec change hands every day, most of them without us knowing the exact details. That was before we became interested… Here are the latest transactions that caught our attention.

Quebec snowboarder and multiple Olympic medalist Maxence Parrot just sold his home in Bromont in the Eastern Townships for $1.2 million.

Purchased just 18 months ago, the 2019 two-story, open-concept home has a total of four bedrooms, a spa and a garage. It offers a living space of 318 m2 and is based on a three times larger plot of 993 m2.

In the spring, Max Parrot’s residence was put up for sale and listed for $1,475,000. Finally, two weeks ago it found a buyer for $1,220,000, which is 17% below the expected price four months ago, but still 39% more than the price paid last year ($875,000).

At the most recent three-year valuation, this property was assigned a value of $995,900. This is a 56.3% increase compared to the previous estimate, which was $637,300.

For buyers, a $27,443 transfer tax payable to the City of Bromont will be added to the purchase price.
