American star Oprah Winfrey was spotted helping people affected by the devastating Hawaii fires.

In a video shared on social media, the host and producer can be seen distributing makeshift beds, pillows and miscellaneous items to residents at a Wailuku shelter.

Oprah Winfrey also spent time speaking to several victims to comfort them.

The 69-year-old owns two properties on the island of Maui, each worth millions of dollars. It lives part of the year in the Pacific archipelago.
