A vehicle theft occurred in Boisbriand last week in which two men were stabbed with machetes as they tried to stop two young thieves from escaping.

Much of the scene was filmed by one of the victims and the images are breathtaking.
It all started last Tuesday when the owner of a Cadillac Escalade luxury SUV had his vehicle stolen in Saint-Eustache, on the northern edge of Montreal.
According to our information, the man managed to find and repossess his SUV shortly afterwards.
He then parked it in the fenced yard of a company in Boisbriand to make sure it was safe there.
The two young suspects were clearly not afraid and found the Cadillac Escalade in the company yard – presumably after installing a GPS system.
They drove there in a stolen BMW to retrieve the previously stolen SUV, even though it was broad daylight and employees were working there.
At this point the situation completely deteriorated.
When the employees saw the thieves at work in the fenced yard, they quickly blocked the two young bandits’ access. One of them, armed with a machete, managed to escape by crawling under a fence.
His accomplice, who was driving the BMW, was literally trapped by two employees.
We see him rolling around the yard, desperately looking for a way out.
“Start the loader! Start the loader! Destroy the tank!” An employee shouts at his colleague.

Then a man climbs aboard a huge loader, encouraged by his panicked colleague: “Destroy the tank! Enweille! Destroy it! Shatter this Tabarnak!” he repeats.
The driver of the loader takes advantage of the fact that the driver of the BMW is trapped between a vehicle and a container and begins to roll over the rear of the car.
The young thief manages to get out of the car at the last minute and runs off, visibly distraught, chased by one of the employees who is filming the whole incredible scene.
“What’s your name? We’ll find you! We’ll burn your house down!” the angry employee shouts at the young suspect.
Just then, the thief’s accomplice, who had managed to escape a few minutes earlier, returned from the back of the yard and secretly stabbed two employees with a machete, including the one who filmed the scene.
“He just stabbed me!” Call the ambulance!” complains the author of the video, out of breath.
Both injured men were taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the Régie intermunicipale de Police Thérèse-De Blainville (RIPTB), two young 18-year-old suspects were arrested very close to the crime scene a few moments after the double attack.
It cannot be ruled out that the people who tried to stop the ambitions of the two young thieves will also be brought to justice.
