One dead and five in critical condition among 11 people shot dead at the bar in Memphis in the early hours of Sunday morning

- Five victims were transported to the hospital in a non-critical condition by private vehicle, five were transported in critical condition and one died at the scene

Eleven people were shot dead and one is dead after two shootings in the early hours of Sunday morning in the Whitehaven neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee.
At around a quarter to 1 a.m., officers were called to a shooting at the Live Lounge on the outskirts of Memphis, where two victims of the shooting were immediately taken to the local Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
Five other victims of the shooting fled the scene and were taken to the hospital by private vehicle in non-life-threatening conditions.
At the scene, officers received information that a second shooting had occurred and the victims were on Shelby Drive & Boeingshire Drive, a mile down the road from the nightclub.
A male victim at the second crime scene was pronounced dead and three other victims were taken to hospital in critical condition.
There are believed to be a total of 11 victims between the two scenes, who police say are linked.
Police say it’s unclear at this point what happened before the shooting and there’s no solid description of the suspect.
It is also unclear whether the suspects are known to the victims.
