CULLMAN, Alabama (WBRC) – TO UPDATE: Rock the South officials are now offering a reward for information after a person was attacked at the festival on Saturday night. Their official statement is below:
“Rock the South organizers are offering a $10,000 reward and lifetime tickets to Rock the South for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the assault on Reid Watts on Saturday, July 22.”
Rock the South welcomed over 35,000 visitors last night and organizers are working with local law enforcement to identify the perpetrators.
Cullman Police are currently reviewing all footage taken at Rock the South near the site of the incident. These videos were shared by both event attendees and Rock the South cameras monitoring the festival.

A man remains in hospital after being attacked by several people at the Rock the South in Cullman.
The man was reportedly attacked while unconscious and beaten until security arrived and the crowd freed him. He was then taken to an ambulance and taken to a local hospital where he was stitched up and diagnosed with a broken nose and concussion.
Authorities are looking for those involved in the incident.
