Prince Harry could become King of England in 2024, according to the writings of history's most infamous seer – the 16th-century French astrologer Nostradamus.
His infamous 1555 work “Les Propheties” (The Prophecies) predicts the future in 942 quatrains – poetic verses.
Some attribute this text to the prediction of 9/11, the rise of Adolf Hitler, and the development of artificial intelligence.
Described as a “prophet of doom,” the apothecary drew inspiration from biblical texts and his own experiences with the plague, with predictions often focused on famine and suffering.

What did Nostradamus predict for 2024?

Joe Biden sought to thaw relations with China when he and Xi Jinping met in November 2023 to discuss Taiwan, fentanyl and climate change.
However, Nostradamus' predictions suggest that it may all have been in vain.
In a verse that begins with the description of “battle and sea battle,” he writes how a “red enemy turns pale with fear and strikes fear into the great ocean.”
The “Red Enemy” could refer to China based on the color of its flag, and the references to maritime conflict are eerie given the escalating debate over the state of Taiwan – the island lies at the junction of the East and South China Seas.
And this is certainly a conflict to avoid if China is the adversary in question, as Beijing has the largest navy in the world.
The famous seer also predicted that the “King of the Isles” would be “forced out” and replaced by “someone who will have no mark of a king,” which author Mario Reading interpreted as Prince Harry, the king Charles was replaced on the throne

British author and Nostradamus commentator Mario Reading has previously spoken about how the French astrologer – whose full name was Michel de Nostredame – may have foreseen the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
And the seer may be in for another royal reckoning, as one of his predictions suggests that the “King of the Isles,” who is coming off a contentious divorce, will be “forced out.”
He is then replaced by “someone who will not have a royal mark.”
In Reading's analysis, this suggests that King Charles III. abdicated due to 'persistent attacks on himself and his second wife' and Harry replaced him in place of William or one of his children as the man who bears 'no mark of a king'.

Climate catastrophe
With 2024 approaching the COP28 summit, this Nostradamus prediction could impact December's events in Dubai, where record carbon emissions are expected – not a good sign.
Climate chaos has already begun, with cases of wildfires, floods and droughts increasing worldwide in recent years, especially in 2023.
What's interesting, however, is how he seems to have foreseen these apocalyptic events all those centuries ago.
He predicts, “The dry earth will become more parched, and there will be great floods when they are seen.”
Elsewhere he warns of storms that lead to famine. “Very great famine caused by a wave of plague,” he wrote.

One passage says: “By the death of a very old Pope, a Roman of good age is elected. He will be said to weaken his eyesight, but he will sit for a long time and engage in biting activities.”
What did Nostradamus get right about 2023?

One of the prophecies that could be applied to both 2022 and 2023 relates to the rising cost of living since Russia invaded Ukraine.
“So high will the bushel of wheat rise,” Nostradamus wrote, “this man will eat his fellow men.”
Since February 2022, wheat prices have risen to even higher levels than after the financial crash of the late 2000s, and now they are just beginning to fall back to pre-war levels.
And although cannibalism did not take hold, a metaphorical interpretation might compare this to the bloodshed of the same war.
