One person was shot dead after a suspect crashed into the Chinese consulate in San Francisco, sparking a major emergency response.
Dozens of first responders attend the incident outside the consulate on Geary Boulevard in San Francisco.
In response to an alarm, large numbers of firefighters and police arrived in front of the building on the busy highway.
The SF Standard reported that the suspect was shot by a police officer.
Police tweeted: “Please avoid the area of Laguna St and Geary Blvd due to ongoing police operations.”
