The One UI 4.1 update, a slight evolution of One UI 4.0 (Android 12), is currently rolling out to several Galaxy models: the Galaxy A52s 5G, the Galaxy A71 5G, and the slightly older Galaxy S20 FE 4G.

After the new Galaxy S22, which initially benefited from One UI 4.1, Samsung rolled out its update to several Galaxy smartphone series. Korean foldable smartphones took advantage of this first (Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3) as well as the Galaxy S21 series. Older product series such as the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 will now also receive the latest version of the operating system based on Android 12. Today there are three other models that can benefit from it.
A gradual rollout to One UI 4.1
The lucky winners of the moment are therefore the Galaxy A52s 5G, the Galaxy A71 5G and the Galaxy S20 FE 4G. As a reminder, One UI 4.1 is a slight evolution of One UI 4.0: it includes the March security patch, which fixes a number of vulnerabilities. It also brings new photo editing tools, as well as improvements for the keyboard, widgets or even low-light portraits.
For the Galaxy A52s 5G, boosted version of the A52, the update is currently being rolled out in Europe. If you didn’t get the notification asking you to update, it doesn’t take long.
the Galaxy A71 5Gin turn, goes straight to One UI 4.1, skipping the step from 4.0. At the moment, deployment has started with South Korea and the United Arab Emirates.
Finally, the third smartphone is due for its update Galaxy S20 FE 4G, released in autumn 2020. The 5G version of the model has already received the update. Some Galaxy S20 FE 4G users on Reddit report that they have only received the March security update so far, without One UI 4.1. Others have already received the full update, notably in Germany and Turkey.
As with any software update, deployment will be gradual and the notification will not always appear. You can manually check if the update is available for your device by going to Settings and then Software update.
