When everything seemed calm, the European Super League appeared again. The mega project real Madrid j FC Barcelona, which proposes to bring together the world's best clubs in the same tournament in the same style as the Champions League, received approval from the Court of Justice of the European Union. Likewise, this institution concluded that neither UEFA nor FIFA can sanction the teams participating in this competition.
This decision was greatly celebrated by the presidents of the two main clubs in Spain, but was not received positively by the authorities responsible for the practice of this sport in Europe. In this regard, not only these companies showed their rejection, but also other teams around the world, such as Manchester City, Liverpool, ToInter Milan and PSG, among others.
Through their social networks, these world clubs have issued strong letters opposing participation in this tournament, especially those participating in the Spanish LaLiga, and have created the motto “Win it on the field!” In this note you will find out which teams have decided to say no to Florentino Pérez's European Super League, a competition in which only Barcelona and Real Madrid currently participate.
