Therefore, a place that will certainly be visited by those who enjoy skiing or long walks in the fresh air. It is called Val di Fumo and is located in the westernmost part of Trentino. It gets its name from the fact that it always seems to be surrounded by a halo of smoke, actually clouds. The wonder of Val di Fumo
Above all, it borders another valuable area of our territory, namely the Daone Valley. Here too there are natural wonders in all their glory, between rocks, fauna, flowers and mountain huts as well as breathtaking waterfalls.
More precisely, the Val di Fumo begins just behind the artificial lake Malga Boazza and stretches for 24 kilometers. A very nice itinerary to follow in its entirety is the one to start with Val di Fumo refuge. A real institution that opened in 1960, it is located in such a privileged location that you have a wonderful view of the mountain hut of the same name. A perfect place to visit even in summer, when the snow gives way to nature and you feel like you are walking on a carpet of flowers.

Then continue towards Malga Bissina until you reach the slopes of the Monte Re di Castello. A rich forest area, also near Malga Boazzo and the aforementioned Daone Valley. A special feature of the area? the presence of Tonalica Rock and the U-shape of the valley, a great testimony to its glacial origins.
In short, the ideal place to regenerate, certainly suitable for adults and children and for every season.
