On Wednesday night, Montreal Canadien hopeful Owen Beck’s club won Game Four of the Finals series against the London Knights by a score of 5-3.

The forward, drafted by CH in the second round (33rd overall) of the 2022 auction, hit the bull’s eye in the day’s duel. He increased his total success to eight since the start of the playoffs in the OHL.

Other Petes players to beat the opposing keeper were JR Avon (twice) and Donovan McCoy.

The Knights came within a goal in the third period when Sam Dickinson and Denver Barkey used the power play to put the puck behind goaltender Michael Simpson. Defender Logan Mailloux, also a Habs candidate, provided assists on both goals.

However, Avery Hayes ended the visitors’ hopes by scoring the winning goal in an abandoned cage.

The Petes’ masked man was particularly busy. Simpson had to give up 53 shots, 26 of them in the third period.

The Peterborough squad will look to capture top honors on Friday night when the series finale returns to London for Game 5.
