Érudit celebrates 25 years of free knowledge

The erudit.org platform is the most important distribution site for humanities and social sciences journals in Canada. Founded in 1998 in collaboration with Les Presses de l’Université de Montréal, Érudit is now an inter-university consortium bringing together the Université de Montréal, Université Laval and Université du Québec à Montréal.

As a key player in the academic publishing sector, the Érudit consortium offers a wide range of services that support the discoverability of research conducted in Quebec, Canada and elsewhere. Its academic and cultural collections are consulted by both the research community and the general public, representing more than five million users around the world each year.
