Open or closed on Canada Day?

To commemorate Canada’s National Day, certain services will have their schedules changed on Saturday 1stum July. Here is an overview to find it.

• Convenience stores, small grocery stores and other small food establishments

• Pharmacies

• Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) branches, excluding those located in a gated shopping mall

• Public transport (STM bus and metro) and Exo-network trains operate according to the holiday timetable.

• Montreal collection services (household waste, bulky items, recyclable materials, food waste, green waste and foliage) will be maintained

• The Botanical Garden, the Biodome and the Planetarium

• Montreal Eco Centers

Farm yard

• SAQ branches located in a gated mall

• All SQDC branches

• City Libraries

• Large grocery stores and shopping malls

• Banks and credit unions

• City offices and county halls will remain closed from July 1st to 3rd inclusive

• The district court will be closed from July 1st to July 3rd inclusive. In the building at 775 rue Gosford in Montreal, only the appearance of the detainees is preserved

• Government service agencies, including the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ)

• Canada Post (no delivery on July 1st and 3rd)
