On Wednesday night, Winfrey reunited with her 47-year-old best friend — CBS Mornings co-host Gayle King — to see the Broadway revival of August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play The Piano Lesson at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.
Backstage, the OWN CEO gushed to director LaTanya Richardson Jackson that the drama was “amazing, outstanding,” and the 68-year-old journalist praised the cast, saying it was “worth staying up late on a school night,” according to the Oprah Daily.
