Will Smith looked more dashing than ever as he donned a classic black tuxedo with wife Jada Pinkett Smith on Sunday night while attending the 94th Academy Awards, held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
The 53-year-old actor, who is nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for his role as the father of Venus and Serena Williams in ‘King Richard,’ was in high spirits as he flashed a bright smile on the red carpet.
He completed his sleek look with a black tie with some diamond detailing for a little extra flair as his longtime wife, 50, turned heads in an emerald green ruched dress with a high neckline and long sleeves with a massive train.

Jada, who shaved her head last summer, accessorised her glamorous dress with a pair of massive, sparkling earrings in the shape of a flower.
While Will is yet to take home an Oscar, he has been nominated twice for his performances in Ali (2001) and The Pursuit of Happyness (2006).
His King Richard co-stars Aunjanue Ellis, Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton also took the red carpet by storm in support of their film, which received six Oscar nominations.

Ellis, who portrays Oracene Price in the tennis drama, wore a stunning orange Versace dress with a ‘Jax Baby’ embroidery on the shoulder as a tribute to her late mother, Jacqueline Taylor.

Her film was nominated for six Academy Awards, while Will received his third Best Actor Oscar nomination, while Ellis received an award for Best Performance by a Supporting Actress. The film is also nominated for Best Picture of the Year, Best Original Screenplay, Best Achievement in Film Editing, and Best Achievement in Music Written for a Motion Picture.

The Williams sisters were also heavily involved in the making of King Richard, and the cast list was no exception.
The couple recently announced they’ve signed Will Smith to play their father in the biopic, which has been receiving rave reviews.
“There are so many special moments throughout the film, but one of the highlights of seeing King Richard is Will Smith’s portrayal of our father,” Venus said in an interview with POPSUGAR in December.

The Williams sisters also praised other actors who were eventually cast, including Sidney, who played Venus, and Singleton, who played the film’s Serena.
Venus had some very nice things to say about the young actresses who took on the task of playing her and her sister, 40.

King Richard focuses on the early years of the Williams family, when Venus and Serena’s father, Richard, did everything in his power to help his children become tennis stars, even writing a 78-page plan.
The film has received quite a bit of critical acclaim since its release, including a 91% on Rotten Tomatoes from critics and 98% from audiences.
