Osmel Sousa reveals his favorites for Miss Universe

He Beauty Czarthe Venezuelan Osmel Sousagave his predictions for the Miss Universe finals, which will take place next Saturday, and He said that with the representation of Karla Guilfú, Puerto Rico could be crowned for the sixth time.

In an interview with Telemundo, Sousa reviewed the preselection of the 72nd edition of Miss Universe and revealed the candidates he considers the strongest, including Miss Nicaragua, Sheynnis Palacios, Miss Puerto Rico, Karla Guilfú and Miss Venezuela, Diana Silva.

The Venezuelan also defended the Puerto Rican from those who criticize her for participating in other beauty pageants. Guilfú previously took part in the Miss Supranational pageant and also in the Miss Teen pageant.

“The girls who have already participated in other competitions, that people are criticizing them, that is wonderful because they have already learned the scenario. This is the case in Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Nicaragua… they are the ones that stood out the most,” he said.

On a specific question Who do you think will win the competition?Sousa said he believes “it could be Puerto Rico.”

“I am sure that whoever will win on Saturday will be the one who has already taken part in another competition. I think it might be Puerto Rico.”he explained.

Miss Universe Puerto Rico has managed to be one of the favorites for the next title of the international competition. On Tuesday she had her interview with the jury and yesterday, during the preliminary round, she paraded in a swimsuit. For this, the Puerto Rican representative opted for a completely purple swimsuit.

Today, Thursday, the presentation of the typical costume takes place. Guilfú will wear a dress by Joshuan Aponte that highlights the cultural heritage of San Sebastián’s street festivals.
