The US has barred Nicaragua, Venezuela and Cuba from the Americas Summit, scheduled to take place in Los Angeles in June. In Latin America they react differently.
In his classic morning addresses, the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), ignited the controversy by backing Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela for not being invited to the Americas Summit.
The 14 countries grouped in the Caribbean Community (Caricom) announced that they will not attend the summit if they maintain exclusions and join Bolivia, Honduras, Brazil and Mexico.
