Our sports bet of the day on Monday was the Toronto Maple Leafs defeating the New York Islanders.
Toronto almost staged a comeback by extending the game after scoring the equalizer with seven seconds left, but they failed to finish the job in overtime.
However, I am convinced that we will get back on our feet quickly!
My NHL bet for Tuesday, December 12th includes a player suggestion bet. My statistical analysis strongly recommends picking Brayden Point of the Tampa Bay Lightning to get 2.5+ shots on goal against the Vancouver Canucks.

He should have a lot of fun
I think he'll have a lot of fun on Tuesday night with several shots on goal. He had a relatively quiet start to December, recording three more shots just once in his last five games.
However, focusing on the second half of November, Point averaged over 2.5 shots in six of eight games. I think he's ready to come back and shoot at the net more often like he did earlier this season.
Personally, the best odds I could find online on Tuesday morning were 1.96 (in decimal odds). There was also a group of bookmakers with odds between 1.71 and 1.83.
Based on my analysis, all of these lines are good enough to bet on, but I would NOT do so if the line is 1.67 or lower. That would be unacceptable to me.
