Ozzy Osbourne has hinted that he would no longer be able to perform concerts if he remained in a wheelchair.

The Black Sabbath rocker underwent surgery in June 2022 to repair damage caused by a fall in 2019, but the surgery did not go as planned. “I’m not going to go on stage and do a half-hearted Ozzy seeking sympathy,” he told Rolling Stone UK. Ozzy’s fall in 2019 reportedly dislodged metal rods that had been inserted into his body following an ATV accident in 2003 and required him to undergo further surgeries. The star shared that the surgery in 2022 “went significantly wrong” and left him virtually “paralyzed.”
The 74-year-old singer was known for her energetic performances with Black Sabbath, but has only appeared on stage a few times in recent years.
In 2020, he revealed that he suffered from Parkinson’s disease, which caused slow movements, stiff muscles, and involuntary muscle tremors.
