Ozzy Osbourne says he’s thinking about making “another album” after undergoing surgery to repair a four-year-old injury to his neck.
The 74-year-old heavy metal icon told Metal Hammer that after he fully recovers from the surgery, he plans to make new music and then go on tour.
“I’m getting fit… I want to make another album and then go back on tour,” the Crazy Train singer told the publication.
The Bark at the Moon artist said he was looking forward to working with producer Andrew Watt, with whom he worked in recent years on the records Ordinary Man (2020) and Patient Number 9 (2022).
“I’m just starting to work on it,” Osbourne said, “and we’ll start recording early next year.”

The No More Tears actor said he wanted to take his time “with this piece.”
The “Mama, I’m Coming Home” singer spoke about the medical procedures he has undergone: “I’ve had all the surgeries now, thank God… I’m fine – it’s just dragged on.”
“I thought months ago that I would be back on my feet, but I just couldn’t get used to this way of life, something was always wrong.”
Osbourne said surgery on his “spine went great” and he was “no longer in pain” but couldn’t “walk properly” yet.
Osbourne first suffered a neck injury nearly 20 years ago in an ATV accident in December 2003.
While he fully recovered from the accident, a fall in 2019 re-aggravated the neck injury and, as Osbourne said in Piers Morgan Uncensored, led to “five years of absolute hell for me and my family.”
When Morgan further asked how he was doing in the interview, Osbourne revealed: “I finally had my last procedure two days ago.”
“I can’t believe I’ve reached the end.” “The main thing is over now, I’m done with the operation,” he admitted.

Five years: While he fully recovered from the accident, a fall in 2019 re-aggravated the neck injury and resulted in, as Osbourne said in Piers Morgan Uncensored, “five years of absolute hell for me and my family.”
“But it’s been five years of absolute hell for me and my family.” “The family have been so supportive,” he added.
“I couldn’t have done it without her.” It was a really bad scene. “I have Parkinson’s, but I never think about it,” he said of the disease, which he was also diagnosed with in 2019.
Ozzy’s son Jack added that one of the “biggest misconceptions” about his father’s health was that it was “a result of Parkinson’s disease, but in reality it was due to the neck injury and the fall he suffered in 2019. “
“I kept working on it until I fell and then everything just fell apart,” he admitted.
“I’m not complaining, I’m moving on.” “If you’re still moving, you won’t be dead,” Ozzy added, before Ozzy’s wife Sharon, to whom he was married for over four decades, explained how the family’s life has changed “changed dramatically” after the accident.
“So many people can relate to who has a partner… it changes your whole life.” Suddenly you’re headed in a different direction and your life changes so drastically. “It’s really hard,” Sharon admitted.
“Especially in the summer because Ozzy works, goes out and does festivals every summer. “Our lives have changed dramatically in the last five years,” she admitted.
“On the other hand, it’s great that I had Ozzy at home for five years. He drives me crazy!’ Sharon said, laughing.
Supportive: “But it’s been five years of absolute hell for me and my family.” “The family have been so supportive,” he added
Parkinson: “I couldn’t have done it without her.” It was a really bad scene. “I have Parkinson’s, but I never think about it,” he said of the disease, which he was also diagnosed with in 2019
Misconception: Ozzy’s son Jack added that one of the “biggest misconceptions” about his father’s health was that it was “a result of Parkinson’s disease, but it was actually the neck injury and fall he suffered in 2019 “.
Partner: “So many people can relate to who has a partner…it changes your whole life.” Suddenly you’re headed in a different direction and your life changes so drastically. “It’s really hard,” Sharon admitted
Both Ozzy and Sharon had said in recent years that they had planned to return to the UK when Sharon admitted they were returning home.
“Yes we do, but because of Ozzy’s issues, health issues, he wasn’t willing to leave this country and his doctors because of various things happening to him medically,” Sharon explained.
“We feel like we’re doing well at the moment, but we’ve had our house for almost 40 years and haven’t really lived in it for over 20 years. “So when you decide to go back into a house, you realize that everything needs to change,” she said.
She added that it “took forever” to replace all the gas and water pipes in and around the house that needed to be replaced.
Jack admitted he doesn’t think it will happen and he’s the only one in the family who thinks it’s a “terrible idea”.
