GREEN BAY – The Packers have listed receiver Romeo Doubs (hamstring) as questionable for Sunday’s regular-season opener in Chicago and have ruled out receiver Christian Watson (hamstring).

Doubs returned on a limited basis on Thursday and continued training on Friday.

“I thought it was another good day,” said Doubs after training on Friday. “In 48 hours we just have to keep building and see where we are. So far so good.”

According to head coach Matt LaFleur, Watson has not practiced this week and is practicing “week to week.”

Tackle David Bakhtiari (veteran rest/knee) did not practice this week but was not given a game status designation and is expected to play against the Bears. It will be Bakhtiari’s first appearance in a regular season opener since 2020.

Linebacker Rashan Gary (knee) is also expected to make his highly anticipated return after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in Detroit last November.

In addition to Bakhtiari and Gary, Green Bay also did not report receiver Dontayvion Wicks (hamstring) and safety Anthony Johnson Jr. (knee) as injured, both of whom are expected to be available.

Chicago linebacker Dylan Cole (hamstring injury) returned to practice on a limited basis Friday but is listed as questionable.

The Bears have not reported injury status for the following players who are expected to be available: safety Eddie Jackson (ankle), defensive back Jaquan Brisker (groin), defensive lineman DeMarcus Walker, offensive lineman Nate Davis (non-injury). ) and tight end Marcedes Lewis (non-injury veteran break).
