Paddy McGuinness celebrated his 49th birthday at the chic The Ivy restaurant in London on Sunday after recently splitting from his wife Christine, 34, after 11 years of marriage.
The television personality continued to wear her wedding ring as he was joined by pals including Question Of Sport co-star Sam Quek, 33.
The large group enjoyed a six-hour meal at the expensive eatery before later leaving in high spirits.

The Top Gear presenter slipped his feet into white sneakers and had an unshaven complexion when he arrived in a chauffeured car.
Paddy wore the ring on his left hand over a heart tattoo he had in happier times as a symbol of devotion to Christine.

Christine previously said of his romantic artwork: “My lovely husband Paddy McGuinness lost his wedding ring…again…on our family vacation about two months ago.

It comes after Paddy revealed he was forced to abandon the healthy birthday plans he had with his children.

The shirtless host, who shares twins Leo and Penelope, nine, and six-year-old Felicity with Christine, took to Instagram on Friday and made the confession in a bizarre shower video of himself amid droughts in the UK.

Paddy then covered his dry body in shower gel without turning the water on and began revealing the healthy family plans he had for his birthday celebrations.
“Tell you what, this sun is beautiful. Yes, it’s smoking hot, but I’m enjoying it. It’s my birthday this weekend, August 14th. I don’t like to talk about the big four-nine…
“I thought I’d take the kids to the garden, fill up the paddling pool and smack the barbie, but obviously that’s all out the window now.”
The couple reportedly split after Christine allegedly found Instagram messages between her husband and a BBC presenter.
Paddy, who made his name on dating show Take Me Out, is said to have exchanged a series of messages with another woman in March, just before he and Christine decided to live separate lives.

Although there’s no indication the news went beyond friendship, informed sources said Christine was upset after finding her on his phone.
A friend said: “Paddy has been texting the woman for some time. They were direct messages and were quite friendly. It’s unclear how they met, but they followed each other for a while.
“There were various issues between him and Christine, but this was definitely one of the driving forces that made them reconsider their future as a married couple.”

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday this month, Christine hinted at some serious strains in the marriage, adding: “I don’t want to get too bogged down in that, but I’ll just say I didn’t cause this situation.
“It’s to be expected when you’ve been together for so long. Everyone grows and changes, and we’ve grown as a family, which is amazing. Those family ties will always be there no matter what.
“But I was a teenager when I met him and I’m a 34-year-old woman now, so I suppose what I might have put up with in the past, I probably wouldn’t put up with now – and the same for him.”

Web exclusively announced late last month that the couple had ended their marriage.
A source told Web: “Paddy and Christine have given everything for their marriage over the years. Unfortunately, they have made the difficult decision to separate because of their young family they will continue to raise together.
“It’s no secret within their inner circle that it’s been a difficult few years for them as a couple, but they’re still very supportive of each other and will continue to be during their breakup.”
The couple then announced on Instagram that they had decided to separate but would continue to live together for their children – twins Leo and Penelope, nine, and six-year-old Felicity – in their £2.1million Cheshire home have autism.

In a joint statement, they wrote: “We had no plans to share this publicly until we were ready, but given the lack of privacy in our personal lives, we have no choice but to clarify this.
“Some time ago we made the difficult decision to separate, but our main focus, as always, is to continue to love and support our children.
“It wasn’t an easy decision, but we carry on as the best parents we can be to our three beautiful children. We will always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily together in our family home.
“We hope that this will now put an end to any unwanted and unnecessary intrusion into our privacy.
“Although we work in the public domain, we kindly ask that you respect our desire for privacy in this matter. We will not comment further.’
